Guts & Glory Tennis published its CybeX launch report on 20 June 2025. The business says it tested the second CybeX prototype made, strung hundreds of racquets on it, and shared its findings with Pro Stringer’s design and engineering team.
Features the stringers singled out
- A pull-speed control that is quick to adjust.
- A pull timer that beeps when the set pull time is reached.
- A tie-off button that applies a set tension or percentage increase for knot pulls.
- A rotating tension head that makes it easy to insert and remove the string.
- Automatic tension changes when stringing with the Sergetti method.
The report also says the team preferred CybeX to the Wilson Baiardo it used in the business. That is the tester’s preference, not a lab comparison.
Understand the testing relationship
Guts & Glory took part in prototype testing and said it expected to sell CybeX from its own website. It also states that it is not employed by Pro Stringer. Read the positive verdict with that relationship in mind.
See how CybeX works today
The current CybeX page shows the configuration on sale, and CybeX strings tennis, badminton and squash racquets. The CybeX guide walks through setup and the controls. If you use a personalised stringing table, the Sweet Spot Optimiser explains that workflow.
