With our new Smart Tension adapter. For the center mains we offer the option of pulling by positioning the stringer placing the flat side of the Tension Sensor against the butt cap of the racquet handle (butt-cap pull) or against the frame at an angle (throat pull). The Butt-Cap pull results in perfection tensioning.
Great question! Module X-2, X-4, and X-6 are the only three variations of your machine mounting support points. The X-2 will provide optimal support for your racquet at the throat and head area while maintaining portability and ease of use. It has been proven safe and sturdy over the last 13 years by our pro players and coaches. The X-4 and X-6 will add 2 or 4 additional support points on the racquet. The additional support points on the cross-bar will give the racquet even more excellent support while stringing.

While we currently offer ModuleX-4 and ModuleX-2 specifically for badminton and squash, your existing ModuleX-6 can be easily converted into an X4 configuration; making it fully compatible with badminton and squash racquets. We’ve designed Pro Stringer with a world-class modular system that ensures both backward and forward compatibility, so you can adapt your setup to meet the demands of different sports without needing an entirely new machine. Flexibility and innovation are at the core of everything we build.
Absolutely! Contrary to popular belief surrounding less mounting points, our 2-point mounting system is very safe and we designed it with your racquet’s safety as the number one priority. The machine is directed against the frame during tensioning meaning there is no leverage between the point where the string leaves the frame and the point of tensioning. Our unique system places symmetric load on the frame which is much safer than traditional machines. A 2-point mounting can be seen as less stable on a conventional machine due to the greater distance between the point where the string leaves the frame and the point of tensioning. Pro Stringer avoids this by placing the machine directly against the frame – holding the frame with stability. We have performed many stress-test analysis and the conclusions are clear: the two point mounting system is just as safe as 6-point mounting systems. If that doesn’t convince you, after 14+ years of heavy use by players at all levels, there has never been a case of Pro Stringer damaging or disfiguring a racquet frame!
The ModuleX table clamping range is versatile. You would not need to worry about being able to find a surface too thick or thin to clamp! It has adjustable securing screw and an adjustable pin.

We have spent 10+ years refining the line of Pro Stringer tools and there is a reason it is trusted by so many players worldwide, it works and is enjoyable to string with! I play recreational tennis around 4–5 times a week. As I got more serious about my game, I realised how much of a difference the right setup — racquet, strings, and tension — makes for both performance and injury prevention. But with more frequent restringing, the costs were adding up fast.

After 7 years, I upgraded my pro stringer to the new Cybex!
In 2018, I turned pro and just after a few weeks, I realized that at many tournaments the tension of my rackets was off by a lot. I saw another player using a pro stringer and asked him to try it out. Soon after, I ordered mine and saved the money I invested in a short period of time.
Throughout the years, the prices for stringing increased and I‘ve seen other players not receiving their rackets on time for matches.
I am happy not having to go through those struggles and I can just recommend the new Cybex. It has a touch screen, so many features and is super precise.
Got my Cybex a couple of days ago and strung about 10 Rackets by now. Teammates were Happy, i am happy ;-).It is by far the most comfortable Stringing machine i used over the last couple of years. The 3.0 clamps are outstanding, just make sure, not to slide them on the strings, since they are quite aggressive with the dusted diamond surface. The constant pull is working perfectly, adjusting the settings on the cybex works as intended. I would recommend the system anytime, very happy with the purchase. I am really looking forward to a possible stand for teh machine.

Recently purchased Cybex for my 16 year old daughter who is a Junior ITF player. We are very happy with the purchase. My daughter is loving the feel of the racket after stringing it with Cybex. Every stringing job is consistent now as she does the stringing herself 🙂 We have also noticed that the durability and tension maintenance of the strings have considerably increased with Cybex. Biggest plus of the Cybex is that, on the tour, we do not have to worry about the stringing quality and cost anymore as she can carry the Cybex anywhere. Pro-Stringer staff have been extremely supportive and helpful too with all our questions.
