I’ve been using the ProStringer Cybex Modulex-6 for a little while now and it has been an excellent unit to work with. For anyone thinking about learning to string their own racquets, this system makes the process far more accessible than I expected. One of the biggest advantages is the flexibility and portability of the unit. Because it’s compact, you can take it anywhere. As long as you have a table and a power source, you’re ready to string a racquet. That level of convenience is a huge benefit compared to traditional full-size stringing machines. Another feature I really like is how easy it is to customise string tensions. The system allows you to dial in the exact tension you want, giving you confidence that the racquet is set up exactly the way you prefer. Before using the ProStringer, I had never strung a tennis racquet before. The learning resources provided by ProStringer are clear, practical, and easy to follow. The instructional videos guide you through the process step by step, and there is also plenty of helpful information on YouTube to support beginners. Once you learn the basic knots and check the recommended string pattern and tension from the racquet manufacturer, you’re ready to go. Naturally, the first racquet takes the longest, but like anything, the more you do it the quicker and more efficient you become. The learning curve is very manageable, even for complete beginners. I would also recommend getting the starting clamp. It’s not essential, but it definitely makes certain steps easier and gives you a bit more control, particularly when you're starting out. Overall, the ProStringer Cybex Modulex-6 has been a great investment for me. It’s well designed, portable, and makes stringing your own racquets achievable even if you’ve never done it before. I’d confidently recommend it to anyone who wants the flexibility of stringing their own racquets whenever they need.

As an active player on the ITF Futures circuit, I’ve been using the Pro Stringer for about two years now, and it has truly been a game-changer. I always bring it with me when I travel for tournaments, and it has been an absolute lifesaver. Being a professional tennis player, having reliable and consistent equipment is essential so I can focus entirely on my game on the court. The Pro Stringer gives me peace of mind and saves me from the stress of dealing with varying stringing quality and machines in different locations. Highly recommended for any competitive or traveling player!

I’m really impressed with the PRO Stringer Platinum 3.0! It’s small, lightweight, and super handy – perfect for traveling. Despite its size, it delivers excellent stringing quality, and I can always count on my rackets being strung perfectly.

We bought the Pro Stringer Cybex, and it has been a great experience so far. It’s compact, clean, and easy to understand once you get the hang of it. The learning curve was real; it took them over an hour to finish their first racquet after trial and error. But that’s precisely what made it valuable. They learned patience, focus, and precision. The Cybex delivers consistent tension and feels reliable for home or travel use. It’s not just a tool, it’s a lesson in responsibility. For young athletes, it builds ownership and respect for their equipment.

We purchased the Pro Stringer Cybex, and it has been a great experience so far. My 10-year-old twins are already learning how to string their own racquets under their coach’s guidance, and this machine made the process possible. Great machine, very usefull on the tennis tournaments. Portable, easy to take it with you. You can safe a lot of money. Stringing quality is also very high. I recommend this machine to everybody. I am ex tennis player (#1000ATP) and tennis coach now travelling with players and with my son (#55 Tennis Europe U14). This machine is always with us! Love it!

I play recreational tennis around 4–5 times a week. As I got more serious about my game, I realised how much of a difference the right setup — racquet, strings, and tension — makes for both performance and injury prevention. But with more frequent restringing, the costs were adding up fast.
I started looking into stringing machines, but none seemed practical. I split my time between New Zealand and Europe, so I needed something high quality, lightweight, and portable. That’s when my coach, through his connection with Rubin, introduced me to the Pro Stringer team — and what an amazing experience it’s been.
From day one, the customer service was world-class. Bryan was incredibly patient and helpful, and I eventually decided on the CybeX. The build, feel, and overall quality are premium. Even as someone who had never strung a racquet before, I found the process surprisingly easy — the guides are clear, the design is intuitive, and I managed to complete my first string job solo.
I’m now planning to string for friends, teammates, and club members.
For any recreational player who’s serious about improving, I can’t recommend the CybeX enough.

After 7 years, I upgraded my pro stringer to the new Cybex!
In 2018, I turned pro and just after a few weeks, I realized that at many tournaments the tension of my rackets was off by a lot. I saw another player using a pro stringer and asked him to try it out. Soon after, I ordered mine and saved the money I invested in a short period of time.
Throughout the years, the prices for stringing increased and I‘ve seen other players not receiving their rackets on time for matches.
I am happy not having to go through those struggles and I can just recommend the new Cybex. It has a touch screen, so many features and is super precise.
